Partners for Cause was founded by Patrina Couling out of a passion for travel, adventure, and the environment—and a desire to co-create innovative products, services and solutions that reduce impact and support regeneration.

Patrina is a strategic leader with over 15 years of experience building partnerships, managing projects and creating meaningful experiences. Her life and career spans 3 continents, bringing diverse perspectives, starting with global media companies (Universal and Paramount) and later transitioning to lifestyle startups that align more closely with her passion for climate action.

In 2014, Patrina launched Wonderfruit, Asia’s groundbreaking eco-conscious lifestyle festival that eliminated plastics, introduced waste reduction programs, promoted organic architecture and featured upcycled art.  Over the last 3 years, she managed AGO’s Save the Humans, a coalition of climate experts and storytellers working to shift the climate conversation using humor and joy, and spearheaded partner programs and activations for Climate Week NYC and Earth Day.  She also guided the strategic rebrand and visual identity program for Panta Rhea, a family foundation that partners with people building power to ensure communities, cultures and natural environments thrive. 

Patrina has a Master's in Management of Information Systems from London School of Economics and a Bachelor's in Business Studies & Mathematics from Queen Mary, University of London. She is a recent graduate of Terra.do’s Climate Change: Learning for Action Fellowship which covers the core principles of climate change, its impact and complexities, and the systems thinking needed for effective action. When she's not problem solving on a project, Patrina can be found in the mountains cycling, hiking, snowboarding or embarking on a motorbike adventure across the world.
